Holiday Anya 5...........

Morning all!!

It's a Lou day for a make today and I have turned my little coloured TGF Holiday Anya 5 into a 'something' now!!!! she is just so sweet it was really easy to have some festive fun with her.

I have to admit to having a 'get the die to cut them out' addiction recently but it is just so nice to get that perfect little white edge around the stamp and so much fun ti watch it come to life like that with a little foam to pop her out underneath.

Thank you for popping in

May All Your Wishes Come True

Hey everyone, it's Elaine, back again to share some more Stamping Bella inspiration today on the Dies to Die For blog.

Instead of sharing another Christmas card, I thought I'd share a little inspiration for your Christmas wishlist. ;) Who wouldn't love to find some of the gorgeous Bellas from Stamping Bella under the tree?

Stamp: Stamping Bella Balloonabella (incl. sentiment).
Colouring Medium: Faber Castell Polychromos Pencils.
Paper: Hot pressed watercolour paper.
Misc: MISTI Stamping Tool, Distress Inks

Just love her. So pretty, and a lot of fun to colour. You can find the rest of the revamped Bella stamps HERE at Dies to Die For.

If you would like to take a look at how I colour using coloured pencils, I filmed the colouring of another of the Bella images - Flowersbehindmybackabella.

Watch the video below or in HD over on YouTube.

As you can see, I use the pencils themselves to blend, without any solvent.

That's all for today, see you again next week. In the meantime, happy colouring!

Tiny Ninja's...................

HI-YAAAAAA!!

Little Mo kapowing in for you today! I have had a couple of weeks settling back into my school routine after the holidays but I had to have a make this morning because my new Mama Elelphant Tiny Ninja's arrived and I couldn't wait to rip them out of the packet!!!

I decided on a black and white theme for my card and used mummy's Die Namics Blueprints 24 for my card layout. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE Blueprints sets! it makes it so much easier for me to learn the mechanics of putting a card layout together.

Thank you for popping in

Koetie.......

Stamp- Koetie.
Morning everyone!

It's an oldie but oh so goodie make from me today. I have had this stamp for ages and never used him until last night and I don't know why! I absolutely love it but have never got round to popping some ink on him.

One of my BF's little baby boy is poorly in the hospital so I wanted to make him a little shaker card. I think he will like watching the little balls and stars wiggle around when he feels a bit better.

Thank you for popping in
Huge hugs Lou xxx

Sending Christmas Cheer!

Hey hey, it's Elaine, back again to share some more Stamping Bella inspiration today on the Dies to Die For blog.

How are you doing with the Christmas card preparations? In full swing? There's still time, but it's running out fast!

Luckily there are some great stamps that will have card recipients exclaiming with festive glee, but which won't take you a lifetime to colour. Here's a card featuring one of them!

Stamp: Stamping Bella Chickadeer (incl. sentiment).
Colouring Medium: Copic Markers

Love this little guy. He's so...chirpy...Ha! The background did not take long to add, and Chickadeer would look fantastic without it too! Depends how much time you have to play with, and how big that festive to do list is.

Watch me colour Chickadeer in the video below or in HD over on YouTube.

You will find all the Copic Marker info listed in the video.

Watch how I added the simple background using Copics in the video below or in HD over on YouTube.

That's all for today, see you again next week. In the meantime, happy colouring!

Snowman Present

Hi Everyone, it's Faye here :)

Today, I'm sharing a card I made for the Colouring Snow Class I taught at the last Dies To Die For Craft Event in Surrey. We were discussing snow. Lol, obviously! It can be really easy to reach for the same Copics when we want to colour something. For example, my go to colour blend for snow is C0, C1 and C3. That's the three markers I reach for, without really thinking about it. Until I thought about it! In our class we played with other combinations for snow, but ironically, the sample I am sharing today is with my old time favourite.

I coloured the image with these colours to match the Whimsy Stamps Winter Wishes Paper Pad, but when I came to make the card, I felt there was too much going on, so I went for a very clean and simple card.

Anyway, I promise the next time I colour snow, I won't automatically reach for my favourite. Maybe I'll get a new favourite. You'll have to keep an eye on me, won't you?!

Let it Snow.....

It's Friday!!
I have another Christmas card to share today using a cute wee penguin from the Let it Snow set from The Greeting Farm.....

I die cut three penguins, hats and scarves and then gave each a different colour....with a  little added sparkle of course!
For the background I used the falling snow and snowflakes from the set stamped with Versamark and the embossed with sparkle powder then I used Tumbled Glass Distress ink.

Have a wonderful day!

Fang-Tastic Beast......

Morning all (.....just!!!),

Its Lou in with a make for you today and I was having an 'ooooooh lets mix and match' moment this morning!!!

I wanted to make a little something for my little guy who has had a rough couple of weeks and we are very proud of him for just pootling along in his normal Little Mo way despite feeling a bit mehhhh! (he's a trooper bless him, I think he fared better than mummy and daddy through it all!!).

So a good old inking of a couple of my fave stamps sets mixed together and oh my!!!! Shaker Pouches, soooo much fun!!! wahhoooooo!!! a Little Mo treat was made!! I took a squidge of extra time to pop a strip of the paper left from the front of the treat holder to cover the little treat holding part and it really lifted it so don't throw those scraps of paper away peeps!!

The sentiment from the MFT Frightfully Fun Halloween set was just perfect for those cute little beastie fangs!!!

Thank you for popping by

Here's one featuring a favourite new Tiny Townie image from the latest Stamping Bella release.

Stamp: Stamping Bella Pamela the Poinsettia (incl. sentiment).
Colouring Medium: Copic Markers

Love the Tiny Townies, they are just so sweet.

Snow cool........

Morning everyone!

Lou in for you today with a make using Lawn Fawn Snow Cool. This is such a sweet little set and wahooooooooooooo! it's not geared to only being a christmas set! which was blooming fabulous as my friend's will be moving in a few weeks time and a winter new home card is just what I wanted to make!! yey!!!!

I had a couple of my little Die Namics Stitched Jumbo Fishtail banner Stax left that I had made up to make a banner for the open day with some Lou colouring on, they are so easy to make and a whole tonne of fun for just having some colouring fun. The post service devoured my first banner (...grrrrr....) so I made another as quickly as I could.

Because it was already made up, I quickly cut out another banner frame in paper to pop over the top of my made up banner piece to protect the frame as I stamped. I wanted my little scene to be confined within the frame.

I stamped my first little igloo and then masked it off to get the other 2 on there, placed either side of the first one.....( let's take a moment to thank the delicious Misti for it's help in the making of this card!! oh my days, I can't tell you how easy it makes it!!).

A little pop of putting the 2 super cute penguins popped up on some foam and then making up my little sentiment finished with a snowflake and poomf!!!! cute new home card a la Lou'd!! he he!!

Thank you for popping in
Huge hugs Lou xxx

MFT Stamps Happy Hedgehogs Card

Hi everyone! Elaine here, with a little MFT Stamps inspiration for you today on the Dies to Die For blog.
I am a sucker for hedgehogs. I've loved them since I was very small. My Dad always used to buy me little hedgehog toys and books, some of which I still have. So, I obviously had to have the MFT Stamps Happy Hedgehogs clear stamp set (there's also a coordinating die set)!

Here's a card I created using the set:

Colouring Medium: Copic Markers
Paper: Make it Colour Blending Card, Echo Park Digital Paper.
Misc: MISTI Stamping Tool, Distress Ink

I filmed the colouring process so you can take a look at how I approach colouring a little scene for the hedgies to sit in.

Watch me colour the hedgies in the video below or in HD over on YouTube.

You can see all the Copic colours I used listed in the video above!

That's it for now! See you again next week.
