Dandy as Candy

Hi Everyone :)

It's Faye here today with another Clean and Simple make. I love the Sweet Tooth Range of Stamps from Tiddly Inks, maybe as I have a sweet tooth myself. Each of the girls has a naughty little cake or sweet... Who doesn't love cake, right?!

Anyhoo, this is Sweet Tooth - Dandy as Candy. I just had to make that huge lolly glittery. Yum. Unusually for me, I've used pastel shades. This sweetie can pull it off, but I think I need a lie down!!

Thanks so much for stopping by... Have a great day.

I Dig You!

Hi Everyone :)

It's Faye here, and I'm excited to be joining the Design Team, and sharing some inspiration with you today!

I'm afraid I fell in love with the You Gnome Me Stamp Set from the latest Release at My Favourite Things, the minute I set eyes on them. Oh my, so many cute gnomes and fab sentiments in one set. Oi, oi!

Anyway, as you'll often find with me, I've made a very clean and simple card, so our cute Gnome gets all the attention. I had two random die cut hearts lying around. So I added a final one with the heart die from the Die-Namics Notched Tag Set, coloured them all in, popped them on some foam pads, stamped a sentiment, doodled a border, and bish, bash, bosh, job done!

Products Used...
My Favourite Things You Gnome Me
Die-Namics Notched Tag

Thank you so much for stopping by... Have a wonderful day.

Emma - rocker card

Happy Friday everyone!
It's Linda here with my regular Dies to Die for inspiration post.  It's not often that I get some time to try something different, but I've seen a couple of my friends make rocker cards recently and I thought I'd like to have a try.

This is how it came out.

I kept my design fairly simple as there wasn't tons of space. The strip of paper from the bottom of the paper sheet made a pretty border. I managed to fit a few flowers on one side and underneath that I added one of the lovely new polymer frames that Tracy has in stock from Scrapberry's. These come in a set of 4 and are very inexpensive. They come in plain white but I fancied mine up with a little frantage, doesn't it look wonderful?

I coloured Emma up with my distress ink and Aquatint markers and decided to give her a funky hair colour.

A few close ups for you, isn't that little frame fab?

I used the following Dies to Die for  products to make my card

Well that's all from me today, I hope I've inspired you to try something new, and I'll see you again next Friday! :) xx

Love and Smiles.....

Afternoon all!!

I thought I would pop in with a make I did a couple of weeks ago. It was for a something and our gorgeous Linda used the same poppystamps die too so I booted my little bunny card out of the something so you guys get to see it instead!!!... the something of course is the Die Cut Essentials magazine, due out on May 21st. I am spoilt because I have seen the makes from the girls and oooooooooooooh they are delicious!!

I love this banner die but found it a tricky one for a Lou's brain to put into use! lol! so I added some strips of my paper and a couple of the sentiment sheet 'posters' to layer it out with before popping my bunny out on some hot glue over the whole lot!!

I made my little bunny look all textured by dotting on him with my blender pen after he was coloured up! soo cute!!

Thank you for popping in
huge hugs Lou xx

Baby Marci & Baby Mine

Happy Friday everyone! Linda here.  Just a few (well quite a few lol) hours and it will be the weekend! Yay!  This week has been soooo busy at work, you know how it is, you have some holiday and the work is all piled up and a mess to clear through when you return.  What happened to it being quieter over the Easter holidays?!

Anyway, I managed to make this card last week when I was on my hols and I have to say that I love the way it came out. Baby Marci is a fave of mine and these papers from Carta Bella....well what can I say, I had to really restrain myself from buying extra pads lol, I still may cave in, they are just sooooo pretty and such a nice change from the usual mainly pink (though there's enough pink in there too to please).

I kept my decorations fairly restrained (for me!) because I really did not want to cover too much of the lovely paper.

I've popped links to the items used at the end of my post, and if you want to know what distress ink colours I used to colour her in, you can find them on my blog here.

I do hope you like my make today, enjoy your weekend and I'll see you again next Friday! :) xx

Cheers!

Hello everyone, Ann-Marie popping in today to share with you all a little something of the crafty variety and it's a little something completely different for me too.

When I opened up my dt pack there was a set of My Favourite Things 'Jumbo Abstract Art' stamps and I looked at them and thought I'm not really sure what to do with those, so I had a little play with some ink and oh my it was such fun and I'm really pleased with how it turned out.  It felt good to stretch myself and try something different and I now have lots of ideas buzzing around my head so I think I'll just leave that set of stamps on my desk so I can play again.

That "cheers" sentiment is part of a fab Avery Elle stamp set and they do stamp beautifully.

Okay that's all from me today.  Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the week folks.

Take care.

Gothica

Happy Good Friday everyone. If it's a holiday for you I hope you get to spend a lovely day....I now have 10 days without work...woohoo! Lots of crafting to be done methinks ;) I also want a good sort out of all my crafting stuff, I think it's taking over lol!

Anyway I'm here today with a bit of inspiration for you (I hope you find it inspiring anyway).
I used Gothica on my card today and I fell in love with this stamp as soon as it was released, but this is the first chance I've had to use her.

I've coloured her with my distress inks, colours are listed on my blog and there are links at the end of my post to products used on my card.

I went for a Victorian Gothic look on the card, well with a name like Gothica I just had to didn't I?
Her dress has lashings of sparkle with some black stickles but I just couldn't get it to sparkle on camera. I added a clock behind her and a chandelier, I thought they really helped to set the scene.

The lovely edging on the card is made by using 4 strips of the border die on the fron and 3 on the inside. Use a fairly thick stiff card if you want to do this or it will collapse under the weight of your finished card.

I used the following Dies to Die for products:

MFT Die-namics Pierced Oval STAX Dies

Well that's all from me for today, but I'll see you here again nest week, in the meantime have a lovely Easter!

Linda :) xx
