Vintage Gardner Gayle

Good morning and happy Friday!  Linda here and boy am I looking forward to chillaxing at the weekend, work has been mental this week.

For my make today I've used Saturated Canary's Gardner Gayle, from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps, but this time I coloured her with distress inks and gave her a vintage feel, using Pion Design's Vintage Garden papers. There's a list of products used with links to the store at the end of my post.  A list of colours used can be found on my blog here.

All papers have been distressed and inked with Walnut Stain distress ink and then hand sewn.

I used some beautiful die cuts made with some La-La Land dies. The card stock is a beautiful iridescent one, but sadly it isn't showing up on camera, which is a shame as it's quite lovely in the flesh.

I finished off the inside quite simply with one of the 6 x 6 sheets.

Well that's it from me today, I'll see you again next week with something Christmasy! :) xx

Hi everyone!

Lou in with a squidge of an autumnal make today!! we have had a busy weekend after a water leak in our downstairs loo and I needed to escape into fantasy land after all the painting, new floor, new skirting and hum drumness of repair were done!!

I dove into my Bildmalarna bulk paper pack like an excited child into their christmas stocking when it arrived, its wonderful, all 12x12 and all very stroke only but I broke into one sheet to make this card!! ....and I still have a 6x12 bit left to make another day!!!

The sentiment I made up myself and printed off in word on my computer and then cut it out with the stitched circle die from Blueprints 18 set.

Thank you for peeking in

Emma with Glitz and Sparkle

Happy Friday everyone, it's Linda here with my make for the week.

I have another Saturated Canary design from Little Darlings Rubber Stamps to share and I've coloured up Emma again, but whereas last time she was soft and subtle, today she has some zing in her step.

She's stamped on to some Fabriano watercolour paper and coloured with a mix of Distress Ink pads and markers and some Inktense Pencils, I've popped the colours on my blog for you. I cut her out with the MFT Pierced Ovals Stax.

The gorgeous, gorgeous papers are by Glitz, and called Hoopla.  Green isn't a colour I usually use much, but I do love a pop of acid lime green and against the black and white I thought that these were so striking.

They've been edged with Black Soot distress ink and hand stitched with top stitch thread.

I've decorated the inside to match up with the front and with plenty of room for a message on the larger oval from the Pierced Ovals Stax again.

That's all from me today, I'll see you again next week with something new to share.

Have fun! : ) x x

Pion Design - My Precious Daughter

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday to you and I hope your week is going well so far.

It's Ann-Marie popping in today to share a bit of crafting love with you all and for my make I couldn't resist playing again with Pion Design papers 'My Precious Daughter' I am smitten with these I really am.  I used mainly My Precious Daughter - Alma's Dress and a wee slice of My Precious Daughter - Baby Doll at the top of my card just to offset the stripes and a little border dividing them up with some ribbon woven through.  To set off the gorgeous image from the My Precious Daughter image sheet I used a Tonic Studios Butterfly Die 'Summer Azure' and whilst it was still in the die inked over with some Tim Holtz 'Walnut Stain' Distress ink to give it a little more definition and finished off with some 'Star Dust' Stickles.

Okay time for me to go.  I hope you enjoy the rest of your week and manage to grab yourself some crafty time.

Champagne Lucy

Happy Friday everyone! It's Linda here,  I'm back from my little holiday in Bath and here today with my latest make for Dies to Die for.

Today I'm using Champagne Lucy, from Mi Ran Jung  made by Whimsy Stamps.  I must admit that when I saw this stamp in my DT pack from Tracy I was soooo happy, I've been itching to colour up some of Mi Ran's artwork.

I teamed her with these gorgeous papers from Authentique, Elegant.  I know I've used these papers a few times now, but the Turquoise, White and Black colourway is just so striking. As usual I've inked, distressed and hand stitched my layers.

I've put the list of items used, with links where possible at the end of my post. I added plenty of glitter to her feather boa and for once you can actually see it in the photos lol!

Champagne Lucy has been coloured in Copics and you can find a list of colours used on my blog. I fussy cut her out and mounted her on some foam tape.

The inside is simply finished with a couple of sheets from the same pack.

Rose in simples!!!!

Morning everyone!!
Its a monday make with Lou again this morning and I made myself go simples because I was desperate to try out my Blue Prints 18 die set!! oooh I know I always say it peeps, but its a GOOOOOOOOOD one!!!

I grabbed a stamp, coloured her up and then cropped her out with the solid circle die, then a layer for her with the stitched circle and onto the card base! One sheet of my Doodlebug designs Sugar Shoppe paper was all I needed for this one (which is good because that pad is very stroke only!!! he he he!!!) I used the two section dies and cut the same paper to keep it simples, just using the dotted border die in between the 2 layers on my atlantic blue mat to add some umpfles!!!

I cut the fishtail and then stamped my sentiment onto it, then cut the little button and added a little twine. It was just so relaxing to play with this Die Namics set,it really is a great one, going to have another play with it this week!!

Thank you for popping in

Sweet Blossom

Hello everyone, Ann-Marie popping in today with my usual Wednesday inspiration albeit a little later than I originally planned.

I was feeling all pink and girly when I made this one which may have had something to do with the most adorable Bo Bunny 'Isabella' papers.  Ooh these are so pretty and very stroke'able I so love their colour palette which is how I ended up with my pink and grey colour scheme.  Anyway, I chose a Wee Stamps image called 'Sweet Blossom' to play with from Whimsy Stamps and she still remains one of my all time faves she's just so sweet and adorable.  I haven't over embellished my card in fact I've kept it quite simple as I wanted the image to be the main focal point so only added a little ribbon and pearls and she was finished.

Okay that's my share for you this week and I hope you like it.  Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your week folks.
