Tress Skating

Good morning everyone, Ann-Marie popping in today to share some crafty goodness with you all.

I have made a card using the cute 'Tress Skating' by Make it Crafty and used the gorgeous Authentique papers 'Elegant' as my colour inspiration - love these!  Anyway, I decided I wanted to have a go at colouring her up in monochrome with a splash of blue to link in with the papers and love how she's turned out.

Summer Fairy

Good morning and Happy Tuesday to you!  It's Linda  here with my Tuesday inspiration post.
Today I've used Summer Fairy, drawn by the talented Sylvia Zet.

The papers are a mix of 2 different MME pads, links to products can be found at the end of my post as always. The quality of these papers is lovely to work with.

I coloured her with Copics which are think are the best choice for bright colours and decided to get funky with her hair.  Her hair is absolutely wonderful to colour up, such fun!

You can find a close up and a list of all the colours used over on my blog

I didn't over embellish as the papers were bright and busy, just a few flowers and some MME brads in the corners. I finished off with a bow from a scrap of ribbon from my scraps box and popped a little Prima bling on the top. The sentiment is from Whimsy and is cut with a matching die. Lastly I added a flurry of tiny butterflies cut with a Memory Box die.

I decorated the inside as usual with papers to complement the front.

Well that's all from me today, don't forget to sign up for my blog candy here if you haven't already, there's just over 2 weeks now till I draw a winner, and I'll see you all next time.

Enjoy your day! : ) x x

Valentine Moments.....

coloured with promarkers.
Morning everyone!!!
oooh I thought that list of dies in the links up there was never going to end!! romfl!!!!! its a lot of fun with dies this card!

I was trying something new for me with this one, using lots of white. I keep drooling over my friend Nic's cards when she does it, they are just amazing so I thought I would have a go too!

The scalloped oval dies were just the right size to make a big rocker style card so rthats what I went for! i have never used them before so there was quite a bit of errrrrr, what shall I do with those before i got started but then after cutting the card base out therest of the card just rolled out! I love the way it layers up so beautifully with the white and just a splash of colour.

Then I added a few more die cuts and wohooo! it was done!!

Thank you for popping in

Izzys Friends

Hey lovelies, Jen here with a little  inspiration today. I thought I would go with this cute little image from Little Darlings - Izzy's Friends

They are coloured with Copics. I popped them on some yummy papers from BoBunny Chiffon Flourish and Flamingo Double dot.    As you may have noticed I do love a floral embelli, but sometimes its hard to match up your paper colours with the flowers you have, so I used the fab Gardenia die strip flower with some of the double dot paper. After a bit of paper rolling it was really easy to make, and I am pleased with the way it turned out, it works so well with my other flowers.

Thanks for popping in xx

Missing You

Hello everyone, it's Ann-Marie popping in today to share some crafty inspiration with you all.

I decided I was in the mood to colour up a real sweetie of an image and settled on CC Designs Drozy's Darlings 'Missing You' and I think she's one of my faves.  I teamed her up with Prima 'Stationer's Desk' papers and boy these are sooo gorgeous just love the rich colours in them and as normal the papers defined the colours of my image so I opted to pick out the red in them which just so happens to be my favourite colour!

I used a Cheery Lynn 'Ivy Corner Flourish' in my flowers I just snipped it into sections so I could move it about to get it in the right place and just peeking out from under the flowers to say hello is a little owl charm.  The sentiment is from the new Clearly Whimsy's 'Simple Sentiments' clear stamps and I just popped it behind a frame.

A close up of the image isn't she so sweet.  Once I'd coloured her I then covered the moon and star in some Glamour Dust so she has just a little twinkle which I think you can just about make out in the piccie.

Butterfly Baby

Happy Tuesday everyone, DT Linda here.  I hope you all enjoyed your Easter holiday, I certainly did!  I've made rather a lot of Easter/Spring cards recently with spring colours, so I thought I'd do something completely different, although still kind of spring related.

Spring is a time of new growth and that includes new babies, so I thought I'd make a lovely baby card using the wonderful Sweet Baby collection from Pion Design. Links to products used are at the end of my post.

I used the Butterfly Baby stamp by Saturated Canary for Little Darlings Rubber Stamps.  Isn't it just the sweetest? and of course suitable for a boy or girl.

The Copic colours I used can be found on my blog here along with a close up.

I used a sweet little Memory Box die in the corner isn't it cute? and shaped the corners with the Cheery Lyn Fancy Corners die. The little Welcome Baby sentiment is made with stickers from the Authentique -Smitten pad, just showing how versatile they are.

The card shape is made with a Martha Stewart, PATP punch set. I added a little MME Pearl brad and a Stork and Baby charm to finish off.  For the inside I simply used a square of the 6 x 6 sheet with an image in the corner and plenty of blank space for writing a message.  As I don't currently have a person in mind for this card, I didn't personalise it, but it would be pretty easy to do so.

Well that's all from me today, I'm off work till tomorrow, but I have the glorious job of cleaning house ready for my daughter's arrival this evening, so no crafting for me today. It does mean that I get to spend a few days with my baby though, so I'm not complaining! :)

Sassitude........

Coloured by Promarkers.

Happy Bank Holiday monday peeps!!!

Its Lou again with my normal little slot today and I decided to go CAS.

Now if you are a lover of CAS the Die- Namics Blueprints range from MFT are just the best for helping you on your way to quick and easy CAS cards. The dies just do it all for you, I absolutely love them. All I needed to do was arm myself with a stamp, promarkers, yummy papers and glue and go for it!!

Sassitude is just adorable! I layered up her skirt by stamping it a couple of times on the papers I was using and then paper pieced her up. Her little sentiment is so cute too, she has a selection of sentiments but this one was Mo's pick! I love it when he helps me choose bits to use!!

Thank you for popping in

Mini rolled roses...they're not just for paper!!!

Felt- Red.
Ribbon- Green Polka Trim.
Hi everyone!!
Its Lou today. I am just stepping in for our gorgeous Jane who is poorly with a really sore back, sending huge but gentle hugs your way hunny xx

So I was in a play mood with my  Die- Namics  Mini rolled roses this morning. They are just gorgeous and with the red felt they make the cutest little roses. And the felt from the shop washes so well. I made my little Mo a pocket for his t-shirt last year and it has been worn and washed so many times and still looks fabulous!!

So I stole a few baby grows from my friend who has just had twins! he he he! and then got to playing. I cut my roses and then rolled them up and stitched them closed with some red sewing thread. Then I made some little bows with my Green Polka Trim and sewed each rose onto each bow.

Then I sewed one little bow and rose onto each little footsie on the babygrow. Awwwwwwwwwww so cute!! I love it! here's a little close up.....
Thank you for popping in!
Huge hugs Lou xxx
