I'm feeling 'lost in space' today with my astronaut themed scene using a set from Gerda Steiner. I stamped the little guy, his martian buddy, the spaceship and masked them all along with the moon (a plain masked circle) before using my dauber to ink around the edge of the card with some DI Stormy Sky, Faded Jeans and Black Soot inks. I then coloured my scene trying to give a little moon-glow to my spaceman's outfit and shaded the moon with some Scattered Straw ink. I stamped the sentiment at the end to finish it off.
For my mid-week post I'm using Lumberjack Guys again from CC Designs, this time for a birthday card. I've teamed him with some green papers and a natural colour scheme so hopefully he's neutral enough to qualify on my masculine card tally. I love his cheeky grin and pose!
I thought I'd share a little something I made the other day. It might just be class prep, but then again, it might not ;) I've used a fab dies from the new Whimsy Stamps Release. It's from a set called Envelope Edgers. They might just feature quite a lot in upcoming makes.
They will be coming to Dies to Die For very soon. You know how I like to enable you!
If you have seen the new Stamping Bella release then you will know that there is an awful lot of gnome-ness coming your way. I am finding these little critters irresistible so I made my parents' anniversary card using a pair from the last release
And the list of loveliness that I have used to make this is:
For my mid-week post this week I'm sharing a pop up box card featuring a whole herd of cuteness from My Favorite Things. Unfortunately it's almost impossible to photograph because the little piggy was determined to hide behind the cow, so this was the best I could get. There's also a tractor and cart at the back (but the piggy in the cart was also hiding from view!). I think he's shy!
I know it's March tomorrow, but it's never to early to start thinking about Christmas and I'm on a mission to avoid having a rush in December when I realise that I only have about a quarter of the cards I want to send. This little guy is from Gerda Steiner and I hope he's masculine enough to be able to qualify for my tally of cards for the guys. What do you think?
You know I love my bears, don't you? So, I couldn't resist this little cutie from the February release at Whimsy Stamps. I've teamed him with a sentiment set, also from this release and called it done! Sometimes, less is more. Unless it's choklit we're talking about...
I've got a monster of a card to share today, with some help from Gerda Steiner! This little fella is keen to scare you, but I've heard he's really just a big softie! The sentiment is from a different Gerda Steiner monster set but it seemed to suit this guy so I've paired them up.
