Bree Loves Buttercream

Hi Everyone, it's Faye here today :)

I love Bree. Her skirt is just so fun to colour . This time, I fancied giving it a froooouthy, tutuie effect. In red. Oh yeah, I had the big girl pants pulled right up to my armpits! This is one of those cards that look nothing like the initial plan. But never mind, I loved doing it anyway!

Garden Girl Carnation

Happy Friday everyone, it's Kat here!

I treated myself to a few of the new Stamping Bella stamps including my very first Tiny Townie Garden Girl so here is the beautiful Carnation.

She even tempted me away from my favourite colour, pink!

If you would like more details on how I created this project, including a list of Copic colours I used, then please do pop over to visit me at Paper Firefly.

Have a wonderful day!

Pin the Tail

I've always loved donkeys. I'm not sure if it's my childhood (and adulthood) love of Winnie the Pooh, or my fondness of the actual animals (we have a Donkey sanctuary not far away), but I do love 'em.  It's not often I see images of donkeys, but as soon as I saw this one, I knew that I had to ink him up.  So here is 'pin the tail' from Whimsy Stamps.

My Fairy Tale Obsession!

Hey everyone it's Elaine, back with more Stamping Bella inspiration today here on the Dies to Die For blog.

The latest Stamping Bella release is now on the website! Whoo!

Today however, I'm actually going ignore the new release once again, if you can believe it and share more cards featuring my absolute favourite stamp sets of the year so far, if not EVER. I'll admit, I'm a bit obsessed, but I think you'll understand...

Seriously. SERIOUSLY. Are they not the cutest unicorns ever? So cute and chubby. Much like the gorgeous dragons I shared last week - and perfect for mixing and matching!

Colouring Medium: Twinkling H2Os, Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens, Distress Inks
Paper: Strathmore Bristol Board

That's it from me today! Happy shopping and happy stamping!

Bunny Pile Stuffies

Happy Easter Everyone, it's Faye here today :)

This card is a perfect example of make sure you have the die you think you have in your hand before using it. I discovered this after I popped the image out of the die I had just cut, expecting something completely different to pop out! So. You have been warned.

#headintheclouds

Talking of Stamping Bella, the new release is in store now, but you knew that anyway, right?!

Spring Chick

Happy Easter Saturday everyone!  Squirrel here with another fowl card

So  for the third in my clutch of chicken themed cards I have used
Die-Versions font die - this one is Hint of Lime, but Hint of Mint would work equally well

Happy Easter to everyone

The Chick and the Ladybug

I've used another Stamping Bella chick image today with lots of yellow, green and orange (not my favourite colours but very 'Spring-like'!  I've combined it with an Easter sentiment from a Whimsy stamp and my new favourite (for now) stitched scallop border die set.

Ewe are the best!

Hello everyone, it's Kat here!

I recently watched my lovely teamie Sue making a slider card and couldn't resist having a go myself, so here is my very first slider card.

I've cut just part of the circular channel so that I could have the cute sheep jumping over the fence.
Here he goes...!

Succulent Temptation with Stamping Bella

Hey everyone it's Elaine, back with more Stamping Bella inspiration today here on the Dies to Die For blog.

You may have seen that there has been another epic new release from Stamping Bella. The bad news? It's all fantastic, so you may need to alert the bank manager/sell a vital organ/eat beans on toast for a month. ;)

Tracy has the new release on the way, it should be in stock and available to order any day now. You will be able to find it here: Stamping Bella.

Here's a little inspiration/enablement while you wait! ;)

Amazing, isn't she? This is Tiny Townie Susie the Succulent. She comes with a great sentiment too, but I wanted to use this fab Echo Park paper.

Stamp: Stamping Bella Tiny Townie Susie the Succulent (coordinating die also available),
Colouring Medium: Copic Markers
Paper: Make it Colour Blending Card, Echo Park
Dies: Lawn Fawn Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables

Copic Colouring Video:

You can watch me colouring the image in the video below or in HD over on YouTube.

Copic colours used are noted in the video!

If like me, you're a little smitten with Susie, you might also be interested in another new stamp set...

Succulent Chicks!

Instant favourite for me. That grumpy chick? Oh my. These come as a set, all separate so that you can arrange them however you like (with coordinating dies also available)! I'm thinking they may just start appearing next to other unsuspecting characters, like little Susie above.

I'll admit, I have a thing for succulents. They tolerate my sporadic enthusiasm for gardening so well, and don't spike me like cacti (which I also love, just in pictures and from afar).

Stamp: Stamping Bella Succulent Chicks stamp set (coordinating die set also available),
Colouring Medium: Copic Markers

You can watch me colouring the chicks in the video below or in HD over on YouTube.

Double blooms

Happy Friday everyone, it's Kat here!

I got as far as deciding to have a play with my newly acquired MFT Build-able bouquet stamps and dies but then indecision struck and  I couldn't decide whether to go for a vintage chic or modern style...so I made one of each!

I paper pieced the flowers for the modern design...

...and coloured the flowers with Copics for the vintage design!

Do let me know which you like best!

If you would like more details on how I created this project, including tips on lining up the stamps and dies, then please do pop over to visit me at Paper Firefly.

Have a wonderful day!

Heidi needs a Hug

I've got an unexpected 'extra' card this week and this one is hot off the press.  I don't usually get much chance to pick up my paintbrush in the evenings after work, but decided to have a play with this one. The layout is probably one of the most CAS I've ever made, and I've done some 'Faye-style' doodling around the edge to frame the image panel.

The card was made for one of my favourite pals to tell her how lovely she is, and to bring a little bit of chickie sunshine into her day.

Smile...

Happy Sunday everyone,

Sue here today and I hope whatever you are doing you are having a lovely day!

Here is a card I made as part of a set for our lovely Tracy to showcase some goodies from Dies To Die For in Die Cutting Essentials magazine.
I used this die in quite a different way by cutting the Chrysanthemums out individually and using Distress Ink to create a blended ombre effect on them.

If you want to find out a bit more about how I made this card then please pay me a visit at

Thank you for popping by.

Lighting the candles

Happy Friday everyone, it's Kat here!

Today I have a boys birthday card and what boy wouldn't love a dragon to fly by and light his birthday candles?!

I just got my hands on these stitched alphabet dies and they are absolutely brilliant for personalising cards; sorry if I'm tempting you but that's my job ;-P

A quickie from me today, again! I am busily working on things I can't share yet, so thought I would show this card I made for the Hochanda TV Show. Sorted!

Panda with Flowers

Hello everyone. It's Annette here today sharing a little Panda in a Springtime themed Mother's Day card.  I've stamped him in pale grey ink to give a no-lines kind of feel, and then I've watercoloured him with lots of yellow and orange flowers.

Here's a close up of my little panda...
